Sydney grew up in Brown County and is an alumni of Early High School. Sydney went to Tarleton State University out of high school and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Event Management. She started her journey in municipal work in 2022 and enjoys learning new things every day within her role as the Executive Assistant to the City Administrator and Assistant City Administrator.
