Nathan was born and raised in Brown County Texas and is a Graduate of Early ISD. Nathan is married to his wife of 19 years and has two daughters. Nathan went to School at TSCT in Waco, Texas in 2002 prior to moving to San Angelo, Texas in 2005 where he began a career in Law Enforcement with San Angelo PD. Eventually Nathan and his family moved back to Brown County where he worked for Brown County Sheriffs Office in several different capacities to include serving as a Criminal Investigator, a member of the Sheriff’s Office Tactical Team and as a Patrol Corporal.
After 12 years of Law Enforcement work, Nathan accepted a job with the City of Early in January of 2017 as the Code Enforcement Officer and Building Inspector for the city. Within the first two year with the City of Early Nathan also took over management of the Cities Sanitation department and in February of 2020 Nathan accepted the position of Director of Public works for the City of Early. Nathan currently maintains his Law Enforcement License through Early PD as well as holds his Code Enforcement Officer License, Residential B1 Building Inspector License and Wastewater Treatment License.
Nathans goal as the Director of Public Works in the City of Early is for his department to provide the community with the best utility services and infrastructure possible as to maintain the highest quality of living for the city’s citizens. Nathan Looks forward to facing future challenges with the help of the Public Works team to address and excel the City of Early’s needs as it continues to grow through both commercial and residential development while maintaining the existing infrastructure.
